Rashmika Mandanna seems to be specifically eying female-centric films. After signing the multilingual Rainbow, and entering into negotiations for another woman-oriented project, we have learnt that she has given her nod for a third such film.
Actor Rahul Ravindran who turned director with the Chi Law Sow and Manmadhudu 2, will wield the baton for the new project, which has been under discussion for a while.
According to a source, “The film was supposed to go on the floors long back, but Covid and consequent issues changed the course ofthe project. Moreover, after Rahul won the National Award for Best Original Screenplay for Chi La Sow(2018), he has been treading a cautious path when it comes to writing.” While the pre-production work is in full swing, the film is likely to go on the floors after Dasara.
