Young actor Vaishnav Tej and brother of Sai Dharam Tej is looking for a big hit since his last two films ‘Konda Polam’ and ‘Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga’ failed to impress the audience. Although he began his career with a bang with the smashing hit ‘Uppena’, the mega hero was unable to sustain it. “It is high time Vaishnav Tej delivers a big hit because competition among young heroes is growing by the day,” says a source.
The actor who started as a soft lover has now turned into an action hero for his upcoming film ‘Aadikeshava’ and hoping to impress the audience in a new avatar. “Action roles are always challenging and his transition from lover boy to fiery avatar has to be backed by a strong script. Of course, hailing from the mega family will give him some advantage but the 'cause' he is fighting for always elevates and justifies an anger-driven role in a film,” he adds.
With his rivals and young heroes like Vijay Deverakonda, Siddhu Jonnallagadda, and Naveen Polishetty attracting youngsters and female followers with lover-boy roles, Vaishnav is now trying to woo masses with his action role and probably wants to join the likes of celebrated action heroes like Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Allu Arjun.
“Playing a fearless youngster who makes mincemeat of his opponents with his muscle power is not an easy task. No doubt, he has taken up a challenging role and now we have to wait for the response of the Telugu audience,” he concludes.
