Contrary to the rumors that claimed that actress Rashmika Mandanna had been roped in by Sanjay Leela Bhansali (SLB) to play a crucial role in his forthcoming film, it turns out that the actress isn’t really part of the project. According to the rumours, the Geetha Govindam star had landed an important role opposite Randeep Hooda in Bhansali’s upcoming production.
However, we have learnt from reliable sources that the hearsay is untrue. Yes, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been looking for a young and reputed actress from the South Indian circuit. And yes, it is also true that Rashmika was approached for the part. However, things did not materialise for the actress.
A source informs, “Rashmika was enthused to be part of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production, but things fell through, and the filmmakers are now looking for another South Indian actress.”
