Roles are evolving with digital content: Adah Sharma
When Adah Sharma commences the shooting of her Telugu film next month in Hyderabad, she feels that the experience may not be the same as earlier.
“As far as acting is concerned, I don’t think I will have any issues. Our approach to the character doesn’t change and we try hard to focus on the job as much as possible. But filmmaking-wise, it may undergo a few changes when it comes to crew on the sets,” Adah shares, adding, a smaller crew will be the order of the day.
“I shot for an entire Telugu film after the first wave; so we are getting used to having smaller crews on film sets. Nonetheless, it’s a strange feeling,” the actress says.
Since actors cannot wear masks while working, the Commando 2 star feels the best thing she can do is build immunity and take all the necessary precautions.
With theatres remaining shut due to the pandemic, OTT platforms and digital content have come into their own.
The actress notes that digital platforms are coming up with exciting content. “I think the scripts are more realistic, raw and intense now. Filmmakers are penning more gripping characters and roles are evolving with digital content,” she says, adding that OTT and web series platforms also give great scope to experiment with content.
