Sumanth is reportedly taking long gaps between his films as he is looking for good subjects.

After trying his hand at quite a few genres, actor Sumanth is now trying something different. The actor’s comeback film Naruda Donaruda released some time ago, but failed at the box-office, forcing him to change the genre of his next film. He is now doing a crime thriller and the film was officially launched on Friday morning without any buzz.
Anil Srikantam is the writer-director while Malayalam actress Anju Kurian is all set to make her Telugu debut with this film.

“A few filmmakers approached him with regular subjects, but now he has accepted this crime thriller because he feels that he has never attempted it,” adds the source.
