Dhruva is a remake of the Tamil hit film, Thani Oruvan.
As the trailer of Ram Charan’s Dhruva was released on Friday, it began trending at the top spot on YouTube in no time. In fact, within five hours, the trailer clocked a million views and in around 24 hours, they went up to 2.5 million. By Sunday afternoon, it was watched over 3.1 million times.
Starring Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead, the film sees Arvind Swamy play the prime antagonist. It is a remake of the Tamil superhit film Thani Oruvan which starred Jayam Ravi in the lead.
