We had earlier reported that a newcomer Muskaan has been roped in for Balakrishna’s next with director Puri Jagannadh. It is learnt that the other two female leads for the film have been zeroed in on too. Amala Paul and Charmme are the possible final names for the other key roles in the gangster flick.
“Amala has worked with Puri Jagannadh earlier in Iddarammayilatho and ever since, they share a good rapport. When names were being considered for a role in the film, Amala came across as a good option. Also because she would make a fresh pairing with the actor,” shares a source in the know.
After a break, Amala seems to be slowly coming back into business. She’s already okayed debutant Charantez’s film Ayushman Bhava, and now this. Puri’s film would be important for the actress to reinstate her standing in the industry. Meanwhile, Charmme’s set to be seen after a huge gap too.
