Life’s come a full circle for actress Avantika Mishra who will be seen playing an aspiring actress in her forthcoming Telugu film. The project, a Vijay Deverakonda’s production venture, is being directed by debutant Shammir and has Tharun Bhascker in the lead role.
Talking about the film, Avantika shares, “It’s a coming-of-age film belonging to the tragic–comedy genre. It has an unconventional plotline, which is what made me sign up for the film.”
Stating that she had fun while doing the film, Avantika shares details about her role in the film.
“While shooting, the role got me nostalgic of the experiences I went through as an aspiring actress. Generally as actors, we are sensitive to certain issues and are driven by several emotions. I could bring out all such emotions in this role.” The Maaya star further believes that such realistic roles would bring her closer to the audience.
“The role is driven by emotions, and I think it takes me to the next level as an actor too,” she says.
