While still travelling to promote his upcoming film Saaho, Baahubali actor Prabhas has been on about the ‘possibility’ of another Baahubali film. But fact is that director S.S. Rajamouli has made it crystal clear to all concerned that he’s done with that franchise. “We shot the whole story as one complete unit. There’s nothing more to be said in Baahubali,” Rajamouli had said to this reporter in an earlier interview.
So why is Prabhas going on about the possibility of another chapter of the franchise? Some informed sources say Prabhas talks about Baahubali as no more than a diversion strategy to keep off the topic of a possible girlfriend.

“Prabhas is tired of being asked about his love life. He has tried every possible evasive answer. From ‘I may I may not (have a girlfriend)’ to ‘I have many (girlfriends)’. But while the southern press respects the demi-god superstar’s right to privacy, the Mumbai press appears unrelenting in its quest to uncover a shred of evidence in Prabhas’s association with Anushka Shetty probably during an unguarded moment of revelation from the actor. Rather than play the dodge game, Prabhas has given bait to the media, and an enticing one at that — Baahubali,” says a well-informed source.
All said and done, Rajamouli seems none too pleased with this uncalled-for summoning of a ghost he has clearly laid to rest. That being said, we can all sit back in peace, for Prabhas and Rajamouli are lifelong friends.
