The upcoming Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s film Entha Manchivadavura has almost completed its shoot, with the release date also announced as 15 January 2020. And though the film’s teaser raked in positive reviews, there are yet no takers for the film.
“It is releasing along with two big films and most of them want to concentrate on those two films, so many have put their money on the biggies and are not taking this small film,” says a source with knowledge on the matter.
The film, which is directed by Satish Vegnesna and has Mehreen in the female lead, is reportedly a remake of a Gujarati film, something that was, however, not revealed by the filmmakers. “The makers have been worried about the film’s business till now and so have not created any buzz around it,” added the source.
The other two big films to release around that date are Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun’s Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikuntapuram Lo, respectively, and both film units have been conducting heavy-duty marketing and publicity campaigns.
