Reigning star Prabhas, who is basking in the success of ‘Salaar’, is reportedly planning to do a big ticket film with young director Anil Ravipudi who has just delivered a hit film ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’. “Anil is readying a script for Prabhas and it would be megabucks movie. He is conducting story sittings with his team in Hyderabad to come up with an exciting storyline,” says a source and adds, “With Prabhas giving his nod to work with Anil Ravipudi, the director is on cloud nine and is working hard to weave a script that would suit the larger-than-life image of Prabhas,” he adds.
A leading production house would be bankrolling this magnum opus and Prabhas would be listening to the script very soon. “Anil Ravipudi proved that he can deliver an action film like ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’ which is also loaded with emotions. Anil is keen to work with Prabhas whose popularity is rising by the day and would be surely looking to make an action adventure,” he points out.
No doubt, Prabhas is looking to work with varied directors these days and his next film with director Maruthi would be a different offering from ‘Bahubali’ star. “Prabhas is doing a horror comedy amidst his usual action dramas to explore varied genres and showcase his versatility,’ he adds.
Whereas, Anil would be joining the big league of directors, if he joins hands with Prabhas, since he already worked with stars like Balakrishna and Venkatesh. His career would go a few notches up if his film with 'Sahoo' star goes on floors.
