The famed Hyderabad Race Club in Malakpet will be an important location in Sai Dharam Tej’s upcoming movie Winner. Director Gopichand Malineni and his team shot at the famous race course on Sunday where the Hyderabad Winter Races 2016-17 have been going on.
“We have a few important sequences like the climax and a scene in the beginning of the film, where we need a huge crowd. With the races taking place, we thought it would be perfect to shoot here because getting such a huge crowd for the shoot isn’t easy. Moreover, the authenticity of the reactions is there too. That’s why we sought permission for this,” shares Gopichand.
With hardly a month left for the release of Winner, the team has been busy wrapping up the film’s shoot as early as possible, to get enough time for post-production.
