Ram Charan Unhappy as Game Changer Release Pushed to Summer?
Reigning star Ram Charan has deferred the shooting for his film 'Game Changer' after suffering an injury and he is recouping on doctor's advice. Actually, Ram Charan could be annoyed a bit since ace director Shankar has been postponing the shooting of their film 'Game Changer' and also extended the schedules and invariably release dates too. "Now, Ram Charan would be preparing himself for summer release after missing the Sankranthi festival. Definitely his fans are also a bit annoyed with the frequent postponements of shootings,” says a source.
The film has been in the making for the last two years and Ram Charan was excited to join hands with director Shankar who is known for blockbusters like ‘Robo’ and ‘Aparachitudu’. “The initial excitement is fizzling out since this was a big film for Ram Charan after the worldwide hit ' ‘RRR” but its shooting is getting stuck quite a few times for varied reasons. Producer Dil Raju is also getting ready for summer release since shooting has to be completed,” he adds.
Tamil director Shankar wanted to give 15 days each for ‘Indian 2’ and ‘Game Changer’ and Ram Charan was prepared for it. “Shankar has given more prominence to “Indian 2’, particularly after the massive success of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’. So, ‘Game Changer’ took a back seat in his scheme of things and affected the career of Telugu superstar, who is unable to decide on his other offers. Even director Buchi Babu has to wait to commence regular shooting besides other big projects,” he concludes
With more than 40-odd days of shooting pending after wrapping up songs for a whopping Rs 90 crores, Ram Charan will complete the film as a true professional and will be hoping to score a blockbuster to make up for his two year long wait.
