After leading stars Prabhas and Nayantara, Vishnu Manchu has roped in Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal to play a key role in his upcoming film “Kannappa,”. The ambitious film, featuring Vishnu in the title role, has generated significant buzz for its stellar cast.
However, the role of Mohan Lal is kept under wraps, adding an element of suspense to the project. The film is being produced by Manchu Mohan Babu, Vishnu’s father, under the banner of Ava Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory. The film director, Mukesh Kumar Singh, known for his work on the Mahabharata series on Star Plus TV, brings his expertise to this ambitious project.
The film’s storyline has been crafted by renowned writers Paruchuri Gopala Krishna, Burra Sai Madhav, and Thota Prasad. Mani Sharma and Stephen Devasi will provide the music for the film.
Initially, Nupur Sanon was rumored to be the female lead and even participated in the film’s inauguration ceremony at Srikalahasti but later she walked out citing date issues.
