Kanchana is back in Tollywood

Veteran actress Kanchana, who was seen in some of the most iconic Telugu films of the 1970s and ’80s, is set to make a comeback to T-town. The star will be playing actor Vijay Devarakonda’s grandmother in his next film, Arjun Reddy.

Apparently it was not easy to convince the 77-year-old, who joins the film’s set on Wednesday but she eventually agreed. “She plays an urban grandmother and it is a very crucial character in the film,” reveals a source. Kanchana was last seen in the 1985 film Shri Datta Darshanam.
