Model and theatre artist Siddhi Idnani is all set to debut as the female lead in the upcoming Telugu film Jamba Lakidi Pamba starring Srinivas Reddy in the lead role. The film, written and directed by J.B. Murali Krishna, is set to hit theatres in May this year.
“Since it is a rom-com with so many humorous moments, the script demanded a talented and performing artist as the heroine. After multiple rounds of auditions conducted, Siddhi was roped to play the female lead,” says the director.
“I auditioned for Jamba Lakidi Pamba and within a few days, they did the test shoot and signed me up for the role. I am extremely grateful to have gotten the opportunity to debut in the Telugu industry,” says the actress, who was part of a theatre group that did plays in many parts of the country.
