Having won several awards for his earlier films Chiseled and Ra’s Metanoia, New York-based award-winning filmmaker Ram Alladi is coming up with yet another gripping entertainer. Titled Pages, it is a political thriller.
The multilingual female-centric drama will star Kalpana Tiwari. The interesting teaser that has been released is grabbing attention. Talking about the film, Ram Alladi says the story explores the difference between social and personal freedom.
“The film is set in the post-Independence backdrop and revolves around a political family,” he says, adding that the film also highlights a Bangladesh-Telangana connection. It is about two women. “It is a completely fictional plot based on certain true events,” he says, adding that the film that was shot in Hyderabad, Warangal and nearby areas is currently in post-production.
