Akhil Akkineni to Star Opposite Krithi Shetty in Romantic Action Film

Young actor Akhil Akkineni is all set to romance pretty actress Krithi Shetty in his upcoming film directed by Nandu. “It would be a refreshing pairing and look good on screen and both the roles are well-etched out,’ says a source and it would be a ‘romantic action film with a good dose of action and romance too. After the not-so-impressive ‘Agent’, Akhil is coming back with a new-age entertainer, he adds.

He shared screen space with actresses like Pooja Hegde (Eligible Bachelor), Nidhi Agarwal (Mr. Majnu), and Kalyani Priyadarshini (Hello) and was looking good in lover boy roles. Interestingly, Krithi played a love interest to Naga Chaitanya, brother of Akhil, in the cop story ‘Custody’ last year. ‘She also worked with Ram Pothineni and Sharwanand before moving to Tamil films,” he adds.
