Exclusive: Allu Arjun, Trivikram film to go on floors?

After much-hyped ‘Pushpa The Rule’, national award-winning actor Allu Arjun is all set to team up with his favorite director Trivikram Srinivas. Although reports about Allu Arjun joining hands with Tamil director Nelson Dilipkumar of 'Jailer' fame have been making rounds, Trivikram is all set to direct Bunny in his next. “After directing Mahesh Babu in ‘Guntur Kaaram’ and going on a pilgrimage, Trivikram Srinivas is gearing up to direct Allu Arjun. It would be a crazy combination of sorts, and the shooting is expected to commence very soon,” says a source.

Allu Arjun and Trivikram launched their new film ‘AA 22’ a few months ago and it was billed to be socio-fantasy. At the same time, recent reports clarified that the epic Mahabharata would inspire it. “In-between, Allu Arjun met Tamil directors like Atlee and Nelson and discussed doing a project. Nelson even narrated an interesting story to Allu Arjun and both agreed to join hands for a multilingual film. However, Allu Arjun is more inclined to do a film with Trivikram after ‘Pushpa 2’ since he wanted to do a different kind of movie,” adds the source.
The actor-director duo has delivered big hits like ‘Julayi’, ‘S/o Satyamurthy’, and record-breaking hit ‘Ala Vaikuntapurramlo’ to establish themselves as a heady combination in the Telugu film industry. “Bunny has complete trust in the director since he can blend love, action, and family drama with consummate ease and now they are looking to do another film to reach greater heights,” he concludes.
