Actor Allu Sirish took a nostalgic trip down memory lane as he marked one year since his Pelli Choopulu ceremony with wife Nayanika Reddy. The ceremony had taken place on the eve of his birthday last year, bringing together both families before their wedding.
Sharing a series of photographs from the occasion on Instagram, Sirish reflected on how quickly life has changed since then. The pictures captured the traditional pre-wedding custom where the bride, groom, and their families formally meet and bless the alliance.
“29th May 2025, exactly a year back on the eve of my birthday our ‘Pelli Choopulu’ happened. Our families met and blessed our decision to get married,” Sirish wrote.
Looking back at the past year, he added with a touch of humor, “Cut to: One year later, we’re happily married and opened our joint account together lol. The last one year was so magical and flew by so fast!”
Sirish and Nayanika Reddy tied the knot in March this year in a traditional ceremony held in Hyderabad, attended by close family members and friends. Interestingly, Sirish had announced in December that he would marry on March 6—the same date on which his brother, superstar Allu Arjun, married Sneha Reddy.
