Young actress Neha Shetty who rose to fame with her character ‘Radhika’ in blockbuster ‘DJ Tillu’ and it is etched in the minds of movie buffs. “She is suddenly seen playing a mother of two kids in ‘Gangs of Godavari’ and her matured role came as a big surprise," says a distributor who adds, “She became a household name with her performance in ‘DJ Tillu’. Her ultra glam look and grey role fetched her a lot of fans, so when she appeared for a few moments in the sequel ‘Tillu Square’, she received applause in theatres,’ he adds.
She played a village belle in ‘Bedurlanka 2012,’ and she managed her image with few lip locks and sustained her glam girl image. “Neha Shetty is fit and pretty looking and needs to hone up her acting skills a bit to sustain in Tollywood. She should avoid doing matured roles since it could dent her career prospects,” he points out.
Neha Shetty has good competition in Tollywood and needs to pick the right kind of roles that would enhance her glam star image, rather than doing roles coming her way. ‘She has been choosy and has to retain her ultra modern look to give her rivals a run for their money,’ he concludes.
