Recently, Jr NTR’s mother Shalini was given a heartwarming birthday present by her son a few days ahead of the September 2nd celebration. The actor took her to the South Indian district of their origin in Karnataka, Kundapura, which was the desire she wanted to fulfill for a long time and take him along. While there they also visited the famous Udupi Sri Krishna Matha along the way.
The social media shared photographs which featured Jr NTR and his mother, and also included Kannada director, Prashanth Neel and actor Rishab Shetty who were part of the trip. In the social media post, Jr NTR revealed the significance of the visit and said that it was as if the post read, ” I have always wanted my mother to take me to her native, Kundapura and visit Udupi Sri Krishna Matha. This desire has been fulfilled finally. To do it just before the birthday of my mother who will turn up on the 2nd of September is the gift I have always wanted to give her ever since I grew up.”
He further thanked Vijay Kiragandur, the producer of Hombale Films, Prashanth Neel, and Rishab Shetty for making the visit an unforgettable one. He added, “Thanks to @VKiragandur sir and my dearest friend Prashanth Neel for joining me and making this possible. My heartfelt gratitude to my special friend @rishabshettyofficial, whose presence and support made the moment extra special.”
Even Rishab Shetty captured the images from the visit in which Jr NTR, Shalini, and Lakshmi Pranathi, the wife of Jr NTR, are seen inside the temple. He posted a picture and wrote in Kannada Keskondalu Curitiba “At the home of Sri Krishna” along with the hashtags “#seksundki #uudpisrikrishna”.
Upcoming Projects
Jr NTR will star in the movie Devara: Part 1, directed by Koratala Siva, where he features along Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.
The premiere of this feature film is planned for September 27 in cinemas across the country. After this, he will continue his work on an untitled film under Prashanth Neel. The latest Prashanth was Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire with Prabhas Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan, who is gearing up for the sequel. On the other hand, Rishab Shetty is involved in making Kantara Chapter 1, which is the prequel to his successful film Kantara.
