Q: What is happening with ‘Pushpa The Rule, the most awaited movie in Indian cinema?

A: We are aware of raising expectations and we are bound to live up to it without compromising on any aspect. We will be wrapping up the shoot by October and planning to release on December 6. It will be another masterpiece from Allu Arjun and Sukumar and I can’t reveal more at this point of time

Q: Your banner is known for star-studded flicks like ‘Waltair Veerayya’, Veera Simha Reddy, ‘Srimanthudu’, and ‘Janatha Garage’ and now moving to other languages.

It is true that we made star-studded and big budget movies in Telugu and got an opportunity to work with big stars. We always believed in spending money as demanded by the script and not the other way round. We have been waiting for a proper project in Bollywood and we could rope in B-town star Sunny Deol for an action film directed by Gopichand Mallineni. Sunny is a very good actor and also very cooperative and professional too.

Similarly, Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar has been a great soul and working with him in ‘Good Bad Ugly’ has been an enriching experience. It would be a perfect entertainer for his fans and general audience too. We also dabbled with Malayalam movies with a film with Tovino Thomas and it was a good experience. We intend to expand our brand equity by doing other language movies.
