Ram Charan Is Like My Son, Says Allu Aravind
Allu Aravind Clears the Air: No Rift with Ram Charan, Calls Controversy Unwarranted

Veteran producer Allu Aravind, father of actor Allu Arjun, has addressed speculation that he indirectly criticized his nephew, Ram Charan, over the box-office performance of Game Changer, Charan’s latest film with director Shankar.
Speaking to the media in Hyderabad on Monday, Aravind responded to the backlash from Ram Charan’s fans and Mega family supporters, who linked his remarks to a rumored rift between Allu Arjun and Pawan Kalyan following the 2024 Assembly elections.
Aravind clarified that his comments at the Thandel pre-release event had been misconstrued. He emphasized that his words to producer Dil Raju were never meant as a slight toward Charan and that the controversy had been blown out of proportion online. He further explained that Game Changer had quickly regained momentum at the box office after an initial dip, and any implication otherwise was unintentional.
Reaffirming his close bond with Ram Charan, Aravind urged fans to put the issue to rest. "Charan is like my son. He is my only menalludu (sister’s son), and I am his only mavayya (maternal uncle). Our relationship is excellent, so let’s move on," he stated.
With that, Aravind closed the topic, refusing to entertain further questions on the matter.
