Acclaimed filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for his hit films Arjun Reddy and the recently released Animal, has urged fans to stay tuned for exciting updates on his upcoming project Spirit with superstar Prabhas. Speaking at an event yesterday, the director reassured audiences that announcements about the cast and crew would be worth the wait.
The event took an intriguing turn when the crowd chanted "Don Lee" repeatedly, fueling curiosity about whether South Korean star Ma Dong-seok (Don Lee) would join the film. Earlier, Don Lee’s Instagram post featuring Prabhas sparked widespread speculation about a potential collaboration.
Spirit marks Prabhas' 25th film and is being produced by Bollywood mogul Bhushan Kumar. The movie, slated to begin filming in December 2024, is set to be a high-octane cop drama. “Spirit is a dream combination of Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga. This combination will explode like anything,” Kumar said, adding that the film is expected to release in mid-2026.
In addition to Spirit, Kumar shared updates on Sandeep’s next project, a sequel to Animal titled Animal Park, starring Ranbir Kapoor. Filming for the sequel will commence in early 2027, following a six-month writing phase.
