Sreeleela set to make a splash in Kollywood

After making a mark in Tollywood, new-age actress Sreeleela, is now making her Tamil debut after appearing in several high-budget Telugu films. She plays a retro character in her first Tamil film. Sudha Kongara’s film ‘Parasakthi’ will feature Sreeleela as the main heroine. The director is well-known for her works, which include Suriya’s “Aakaasam Nee Haddhu Ra” and Venkatesh’s “Guru.”

In the film, Sivakarthikeyan plays the lead role. It is his 25th film as a hero. Today, the makers revealed the title and teaser. Parasakthi, set in a bygone era in Madras, explores student politics, showcasing the roles of Atharva, Sreeleela, and Ravi Mohan. The teaser concludes with Siva Karthikeyan standing atop the college building, asking for a revolution.

Earlier, Sreeleela even declined a special song with superstar Vijay in ‘GOAT’ and was waiting for a plum role. “Her plan to begin with a reigning Kollywood star has paid off and her film with Siva Karthikeyan is bound to be the perfect launch pad in Tamil movies. Her dancing and acting talent is going to come in handy,” says a producer.
