Top Producers Hit Out at Suneil Narang for Supporting Single Screens
They are also demanding to exempt the films that are already under-production from the Percentage System.

After Telangana Exhibitors addressed a press conference, members of Active Producers Guild also addressed the media to rebut their allegations.
The Producers alleged that Telangana Exhibitors are resorting to blackmail tactics and when they function as ecosystem, unilateral threats are not desirable.
They clarified that they are okay for Percentage System but before that, Rentrack-like system should be implemented and Grading of theaters should happen.
They are also demanding to exempt the films that are already under-production from the Percentage System.
Mythri Ravi did not mince words in saying that Sirish and Suniel are troubling them because they do not have big films and Naga Vamsi directly said they are not making films to feed lessees.
Asian Suniel seems to be bigger target for the producers than Sirish Reddy himself.
Suniel Narang is the biggest beneficiary if Percentage System comes because he holds the most number of properties in Nizam. In fact, he has theaters many times more than Sirish Reddy here. SVC only has around 25 theaters in Nizam while Naga Vamsi and other alleged that Suniel holds around 300 properties.
Suniel holds both Single Screens and Multiplexes. But then, he is someone who encouraged Multiplexes extensively and took sheen of single screens, they alleged.
Mythri Ravi also questioned why Suniel constructed AAA Cinemas demolishing the Satyam theater, which was an iconic Single Screen theater in the city.
