Saptha Saagaralu Daati actress can’t decide on projects

Actress Rukmini Vasanth has become a hot topic among directors after her recent film Sapta Saagaralu Daati gained positive reviews from a certain section of the audience. This has happened only because she has acted with Rakshit Shetty. This film was a hit among the Kannada audience but failed to impress the Telugu audience.

Saptha Saagaralu Daati actress can’t decide on projectsAfter the release of the film, many filmmakers have eyed Rukmini and approached her for many upcoming films in Tollywood. Many have even thought that she would be filling the void for heroines in the Telugu film industry. Along with Rukmini came names like Mamitha Baiju of Premalu and Anna Ben of Kalki fame.

Not many know that Rukmini acted in a film with Nikhil long ago. But this film, which actually marks her debut, never saw the light. Well, looks like a lot of young girls such as Rukmini are not being guided well. Though she has been getting many offers, it is to be noted that she has lost more than half of them. In the last six months, the actress had many narrations but nothing worked. “Rukmini was considered to play the female lead in Vijay Deverakonda and Ravi Kiran Kola’s project. The narration happened but the makers had to follow up with the manager for more than two to three months just to even know if it was a yes or no. The director almost lost hope but did not give up. Only after approaching her personally, she sounded convinced but the dotted line is yet to be signed,” said a close source.

As per an article published in Hindustan Times, Rukmini is said to have signed director Mahesh and Ram Pothineni’s film. But the truth is that she is not finalised there too. The same is the case with Dulquer Salmaan and Vyjayanthi Movies’ Aakasam Lo Oka Taara. “Test look has happened for this film. But Rukmini’s profile was ruled out as they found a better choice for the role,” confirmed an anonymous source. Recently, her manager rejected a Dulquer Salmaan starrer and there is doubt among the gossip mongers whether the project even reached her or not.

“It is high time that Rukmini finds a better light for her guidance. She is being represented by someone who already has a bad name in the industry and she will keep on losing projects when filmmakers have to reach out to her through him. The earlier she realises, the better for her,” says a renowned producer who already has bitter experiences with the same representative.
