Mahanati of Tollywood, Keerthy Suresh starred opposite Varun Dhawan in her debut Bollywood film, Baby John, alongside Varun Dhawan. This is an official remake of the 2016 Tamil film Theri starring Thalapathy Vijay and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Interestingly, Keerthi, in an interview with Galatta India, revealed that it was her Mahanati co-star who recommended her name to the makers of Baby John.
Keerthy Suresh revealed, saying, "She probably had me in mind when this was happening; that’s what Varun also told me. I can’t be grateful enough for that. It’s so sweet of her to say, ‘Keerthy will be able to pull off this character.’"
I remember her posting a story on Instagram after watching the trailer of Baby John, saying, I wouldn't have shared this one with anyone else, but you. It was so sweet and meant a lot to me. I couldn't have asked for a better debut. This is one of the characters that I really loved, and I am so glad I got to play it in Hindi, she concluded.
Keerthy, who recently got married to her longtime boyfriend, was seen flaunting her mangalsutra; amidst this, the rumors of the actress quitting the film industry started circulating all over social media.
However, she has signed two projects: Revolver Rita and Kannivedi, and Keerthy has not addressed these rumors yet.
