Actress Trisha is reuniting with her former co-stars, reviving collaborations after nearly two decades. The actress, who is known for her versatility, recently teamed up with megastar Chiranjeevi for Vishwambhara, marking their reunion 18 years after Stalin (2006). Similarly, Trisha will share the screen with Tamil star Suriya in his 45th film, two decades after their previous collaboration in Aaru (2005).
“Trisha has become a top choice for roles opposite 40-plus heroes, and she’s embracing it wholeheartedly,” said a source close to the actress. She also paired with Tamil superstar Vijay in Leo, portraying his wife, after a 20-year gap since their earlier films together.
Beyond reunions, Trisha is set to star in ace director Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life, featuring Kamal Haasan in the lead. While she isn’t playing Kamal’s romantic interest, she reportedly has a pivotal role in the action-adventure. The actress also has three other films in production, showcasing her busy schedule.
Trisha first rose to prominence in Telugu cinema with hits like Varsham, Bodyguard, and Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule, before transitioning to Tamil films where she became a top star. With Vishwambhara, she is making a grand comeback to Telugu cinema.
