Veera Kogatam: From Journalist to Key Contributor in 'Pushpa 2', on the Brink of Directorial Debut
Veera Kogatam, whose name might not be familiar to many, has played a pivotal role in the blockbuster Telugu film 'Pushpa 2'.
Hailing from Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh, Veera has always been passionate about cinema. His journey in the film industry began as a journalist with Eenadu, where he honed his storytelling skills.
When 'Pushpa' was in the making, his local knowledge of Chittoor and Kadapa districts proved invaluable to director Sukumar. Veera's research on the local dialects, customs, and the overall culture of the region enriched the film. His work was so impressive that he was promoted from an associate director to a second associate director for 'Pushpa 2'.
Veera's contributions extended beyond research. He was deeply involved in script development, Gangamma Jathara and Red Sandalwood scenes . His understanding of the local nuances ensured that the film's portrayal of the region was authentic and relatable. The much-acclaimed 'jathara' sequence in 'Pushpa 2' is a testament to Veera's meticulous attention to detail.
