Hyderabad: With the release of the song Tauba Tauba from the movie, Bad Newz, most of the reels on Instagram are about social media users trying to recreate, Tauba Tauba Hook Step.
As the song was released, Vicky Kaushal's swift leg moments and hand gestures went viral in no time. There are many fun videos on social media where people are trying to recreate the step but fail miserably.
The hook step of Tauba Tauba is not easy to do for non-dancers but Vicky Kaushal does it very smoothly, due to which it looks effortless on screen.
The popularity of the hook step is changing how dancing in Bollywood is perceived and the rise of Instagram has opened a new way to market films.
Bosco Martis, choreographer of the Tauba Tauba music video said to Hindustan Times, "The brief on a hook step is that it should be easy so that everybody can pick it up."
Everybody is trying to do it. It's not that everyone can do, yet people are trying," he added.
