After a rather intense 2013, Sonam Kapoor will be seen entering a fun zone with three of her upcoming films in 2014 — 'Bewakoofiyan', 'Khoobsurat' and 'Dolly Ki Doli'.
Says a close associate of the actress, “Sonam plays a pivotal role in each of these films. YRF’s 'Bewakoofiyan' will see Sonam and actor Ayushmann Khurrana as a couple fighting through the lows of recession. 'Khoobsurat' as everybody knows is a remake of the Rekha-starrer by the same name and Arbaaz Khan’s 'Dolly Ki Doli' is also a very light-hearted film also starring Raj Kumar Rao and Pulkit Samrat — it’s a rather unconventional cast.”
Unlike 'Raanjhanaa', with a political background and 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', a biopic, these films won’t see Sonam taking workshops to get into the skin of intense characters.
