TRS MLAs have appealed to the Speaker to ensure smooth conduct of the House, take up discussion on the Telangana Bill and suspend MLAs who tried to obstruct the proceedings. “The Speaker should be unbiased,”?they said.
Rajender said the Congress, which had Telangana in its election manifesto, should ask its Seemandhra MLAs to honour their commitment and allow the debate. “By stalling the Assembly, they will become sinners in history,”?Rajender added.
Dayakar Rao and M Narasimhulu, TD MLA sought immediate intervention of Centre to ensure smooth passage of the Telangana Bill. Rao accused both Chief Minister and Speaker of doing little to ensure smooth conduct of the House.
