- Iain Hume, Atletico de Kolkata. The Canadian international has been a consistent performer in ISL. Hume won the Most Valuable Player award in 2014. In 2015, Hume scored 11 goals in the tournament, after switching from Kerala to Kolkata. (Photo: ISL)
- Diego Forlan, Mumbai City FC. The former Uruguayan footballer is one of the most high-profile players to join ISL. The 2011 Copa America winner is proven match-winner. The striker is expected to turnaround the club's fortunes in the 2016 edition. (Photo: PTI)
