Leaders, celebs extend birthday wishes to Revanth Reddy

Telangana CM A. Revanth Reddy receives birthday greetings from PM Modi, CMs, ministers, celebrities, and party leaders across India

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was flooded with birthday wishes on Friday from across the spectrum, including political leaders, Chief Minsters, Union ministers and celebrities.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted on social media platform X: “Best wishes to Telangana CM Shri Revanth Reddy Ji on his birthday. I pray for his long and healthy life. @revanth_anumula.” Governor Jishnu Dev Varma extended his greetings, posting on his X handle, “My best wishes to Sri A Revanth Reddy Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana on his Birthday and many happy returns of the day (sic).” Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu wished Reddy “good health and long life,” while Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah described Reddy as a “dynamic Chief Minister.” He added “May this year bring you success in serving the people of Telangana and strengthening our shared commitment to justice, progress, and welfare for all.” Union minister Nitin Gadkari wished the Chief Minister “good health and long life,” while his Cabinet colleague Bandi Sanjay Kumar prayed for “a long and healthy life.”

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, US Consul General Jennifer Larson and British Deputy High Commissioner Gareth Wynn Owen, echoed similar sentiments, applauding Revanth's commitment to serve the people of Telangana. Well-known actor Chiranjeevi wrote on X, “Wishing Hon’ble CM @revanth_anumula garu a blessed birthday! Have a wonderful year ahead! May you have a long life with good health in the service of the people! (sic).” Meanwhile, there were celebrations across the state with Congress leaders and party activists organising grand festivities to mark the occasion.

Supporters gathered at Gandhi Bhavan, the party’s state headquarters, to burst crackers and distribute sweets.

Government whip Adi Srinivas offered special prayers at the Sree Raja Rajeshwara Swami temple in Vemulawada, including the traditional ‘kodemokku’ ritual by offering 50 cows to the presiding deity—a gesture believed to bring blessings and fulfill one’s wishes.
