DJ Ankit Rohida reveals the key lessons he learnt from the noted DJs of the industry
In today’s time, there would hardly be anyone who would not like electronic dance music or fast music. It has changed the game and has been the first preference of millennials and the youth. The quirky beats and tunes have also encouraged many artists and DJs to bring novelty to modern music. The music industry has given many young talents, and one such name who is rocking the stage with his energetic performances is Ankit Jaipal Rohida. He is a Pune-based DJ who kicked-off his career at a very tender age. Started DJing in 2014, he began to perform at weddings, functions and thereafter in top-notch clubs and pubs of Pune, Mumbai and other cities.
The fascination with creating remixes is something DJ Ankit Rohida had since his college days. He has always focused on improvising his beats, and through consistent practice, DJ Ankit registered himself as one of the favourite DJs among the party lovers. During his college, he bagged a prize at the Symbiosis War of DJs held at Blue Frog in Pune in 2018. To brush his skills, he learnt the art of DJing from Spinmaster Kaz Academy in Pune. The unusual remixes of DJ Ankit has captivated everyone’s attention, thus making him a celebrated name at various party destinations of India.
At a very young age, he has collaborated and shared the stage with some of the well-established DJs of India including DJ Suketu, DJ Akbar Sami, DJ Lemon, DJ Kaz and many more. “The DJs I have worked with have taught me some important life lessons. I believe that the most important lesson I have learnt from them is to be unique the way you are. That’s how you build your identity among your contemporaries”, quoted DJ Ankit Rohida. Apart from this, he has performed overseas in Dubai and Doha and has worked with celebrated names from Bollywood like Pritam Chakraborty, Boman Irani, Urvashi Rautela and Chunky Pandey.
The 23-year old who started by performing at gigs and weddings has now earned appreciation as the most promising DJs of India. Being a true Indian at heart, DJ Ankit Rohida prefers Bollywood and Punjabi music over other genres. “It has a sense of connection with the masses. As per my experience, I have understood the audience’s preference. Nothing gives me joy than creating a rage on the dance floor”, stated the DJ. Today DJ Ankit Rohida has proved to everyone that music has not just been a career choice but a passion for him that has changed his fortunes forever. Looking at his career graph, the young guy has a long way to go and has got a lot to achieve in his commendable career.
