It witnessed enthusiastic participation from select members of the dining program along with some special invitees which included notable names from different industries.

This enchanting evening was hosted by Aslam Gafoor, Brand Host - Dineout Passport along with Rakesh Sethi, General Manager at the Shangri-La, Bengaluru. Ms. Smriti Narendran, Brand Ambassador of Pernod Ricard, enthralled the guests by taking them along, on an interactive journey about the origin of single malt whiskey while also sharing some of her unique experiences along the way.

And what better way to complement a fascinating journey of single malt than by tasteful food? After all, that is the USP of Shangri-La. Its executive chef, Ashok Bandaru curated a special menu that blended with the incredible range of Pernod Ricard’s malts, which included Somme Faible De Shanghai, Gamberi Alla Griglia, Costolette di Agnello Alla Griglia E Pollo Nero, Crespelle and finishing it off with a star dessert Torta Caprese. These mouth-watering delicacies were paired with Scapa Glansa, Aberlour 12 YO and Aberlour 18 YO, allowing guests and members to appreciate how the elements of malts were just perfect with each delicacy.
