The 1.2-litre motor should be on par with the outgoing 1.0-litre unit in terms of performance and efficiency. Both manual and automatic transmission options will continue to be available.

5. New Base Variant

The older i20 model had four main versions: Magna, Sportz, Asta, and Asta (O). The Magna was the lowest or base version. With the newly updated i20, Hyundai has introduced an even more entry-level or affordable version called the Era.
