Twins score same marks in AP SSC exam
VIJAYAWADA: Two girls born twins in life scored identical marks in SSC examinations in Palnadu district, thereby going viral on social media platforms.
Swapna and Swathi are twins hailing from Karumanchi in Savalyapuram mandal of Palnadu district. They took birth together, grew together, studied in the same school and did their tenth at Zilla Parishad High School, Karumanchi.
It is said the twins have been having the habit of confusing their friends and peers since childhood.
In what turned to be a real surprise, they both scored the same 578 marks out of 600 in their SSC exams.
Their father is not around to celebrate, as he died six years ago. Their mother Krishnakumari has brought them up by working hard as a tailor. She said it is a coincidence that both of her daughters are competing in education too. She expressed happiness that both have got equal marks.
Swapna and Swathi said they will never forget the difficulties their mother has faced in educating them. They said in unison that they will work hard to get better jobs in future.
