Youth Congress Porata Yatra entered Nizamabad

NIZAMABAD: Youth Congress state president Shivasena Reddy said that after the Congress comes to power, it would fill government job vacancies by September 2024 and give Rs 4,000 dole to those who cannot find employment. "We will fill all the notified vacancies," he said, during the Youth Congress’ Yuva Porata Yatra Nizamabad on Friday.

Youth Congress activists took out a motorbike rally to mark the event. Shivasena Reddy said that the Youth Congress had begun the Porata Yatra to fight on behalf of the unemployed youths. If Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao retained power in the next Assembly elections, even food will become scarce.

The YC state president said that government offices were empty as the government had not recruited. The BRS government also did not implement its poll promise of paying an unemployment dole, he said. The money would have added up to Rs 1.6 lakh per jobless person, Shivsena Reddy said.

TPCC working president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud, TPCC former vice president Taher Bin Hamdan, senior leader R. Bhupathi Reddy and others were present.
