TVS offers jobs to 116 from AP polytechnics
VIJAYAWADA: TVS Group has chosen 116 polytechnic students from Andhra Pradesh in the campus recruitment it carried out at Maddi Bala Tripura Sundaramma Government Polytechnic in Guntur.
Making the announcement, AP technical education commissioner Chadalavada Nagarani said Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s directive of providing immediate employment to students of government polytechnics is yielding good results.
She pointed out that many organisations prior to the TVS have provided job opportunities with good packages to third-year polytechnic students, particularly those of mechanical, electrical and automobile streams.
Nagarani pointed out that Wheels India had provided to polytechnic students an annual salary of ₹2.4 lakhs, along with other facilities.
The technical education commissioner appreciated students of government polytechnics in the state for excelling in sports as well. She pointed out that in the fourth All India Southern Region Polytechnic Sports and Games Meet 2022–23, AP’s students excelled in 14 disciplines. 40 girls and 52 boys belonging to various polytechnic colleges won different medals, she added.
