Hyderabad: The Directorate General of Resettlement (DGR), in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), on Tuesday, organised an employment seminar for retired and retiring defence personnel at Air Force Station, Hakimpet.
Air Vice Marshal P.K. Ghosh, Senior Officer Administration at the IAF Training Command HQ, inaugurated the seminar which aimed at providing a second career option to skilled veterans.
A statement said 1,241 veterans and 50 corporate houses participated in the employment seminar. These veterans would be employed in appointments ranging from senior supervisors to strategic planners and project directors.
