Hyderabad: Justice N. Tukaramji of the Telangana High Court on Tuesday rejected the anticipatory bail petition of Mohammed Raheel Aamir, son of BRS former MLA Shakeel Ahmed, seeking a direction to the police to not arrest him in connection with the 2022 Jubilee Hills hit-and-run case, which claimed the life of a two-month-old infant.
When the accident occurred in February 2022, the police had registered the case and a person had surrendered stating that he was driving the car at the time of the accident.
In 2024, the police came to know that Raheel was driving the car and had asked another person to surrender before the police
