Telangana HC Hears MLA’s Plea over Kalyana Laxmi Cheques Distribution

BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy from Huzurabad Assembly constituency approached the High Court complaining that revenue officials are not permitting him for distributing cheques for an amount of Rs 1,00,116 of "Kalyana Laxmi and Shadi Mubhaarak to eligible beneficiaries in his constituency and the delay in distribution of the cheques will deprive the beneficiaries as the cheques will get lapsed by June 27. Hyderabad: BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy from Huzurabad Assembly constituency approached the High Court complaining that revenue officials are not permitting him for distributing cheques for an amount of Rs 1,00,116 of "Kalyana Laxmi and Shadi Mubhaarak to eligible beneficiaries in his constituency and the delay in distribution of the cheques will deprive the beneficiaries as the cheques will get lapsed by June 27.
Justice S Nanda of Telangana High Court heard the petition and asked Imran Khan, additional advocate general of Telangana to inform the court about the instructions he received on this issue from the government.
