Bengaluru: "It is a cliche to ask women about work life balance. Everyone has priorities. This is not specific to women. I faced a lot of gender bias when I started off as an enterpreneur. She said this during a panel discussion at the launch of the book She Walks, She Leads by Gunjan Jain in the city on Thursday. Britannia Industries Managing Director Vinita Bali too concurred with the view.
She said, “The corporate world is glorified. Women from all fields need to have a work life balance. All the women I know are working, but I can't say the same about men. And when we talk of leadership, it is not just a position but a role. There are women who take leadership in their communities,
in slums.”
