Maha Shakthi Yagam to be launched at Sreepeetham in Kakinada today
Kakinada: The Maha Shakthi Yagam, a 30-day event dedicated to the Goddess Bhagala Mukhi, will be launched at Sreepeetham in Kakinada on Tuesday.
Sree Peetham Seer Swamy Paripoornananda Saraswathi told reporters on Monday that this is the first time in India that such a large-scale Yagam will be held for the Goddess Bhagala Mukhi. He said that 100 crore Kumkum poojas will be performed during the Yaga period, and that nearly 12,000 to 15,000 women devotees can perform Kumkum pooja in one place every day.
Swamy Paripoornananda Saraswathi also said that the Maha Yagam will be conducted to 27 stars, and that there will be a daily deepotsavam program and one crore Anusthana pooja to Goddess Bhagala Mukhi.
He said that nobody has ever performed such a huge Yagam and pooja to Goddess Bhagala Mukhi in India before, and he requested the people to make use of the divine opportunity.
