VIJAYAWADA: NTR district collector Dr S. Dilli Rao performed special pujas at a Vinayaka pandal in Vijayawada on Sunday as part of the Ganesh Sarannavaratri festivities.
Speaking on the occasion, Dilli Rao expressed his happiness over the fact that the festival was being celebrated irrespective of caste and religion. He stated that this indicates unity among the people and with the blessings from the universal god Lord Vigneswara, people are living with health, prosperity and wealth. He appreciated the organisers conducting the grand celebrations of Ganesha Chaturthi.
