An Ode to Nature

The sound and calming effect of the water gives you a divine feeling and emphasises the importance of protecting the environment.”

Hailing from Warangal, Indaram Nageshwar Rao works as a Senior Sales Manager in an insurance company, but he is an avid wildlife photographer, explorer and adventurer too. “I developed a passion for photography at the age of 10,” says Nageshwar, who has been part of countless expeditions till date. His impressive body of work includes photos of 50 National Parks and Sanctuaries, more than 100 Safaris and 34 waterfalls, apart from 15 mountains across India. As a part of his continuous endeavour to explore nature, he recently captured the pristine waterfalls of Telangana — Bogatha, Kuntala, Muthyam Dhara and Pochera.

Describing his experience of taking photographs at the picturesque locations, the 49-year-old shares, “I felt like I was in Mother Nature’s lap. I experienced nature from very close quarters and that was evident in my photos. The sound and calming effect of the water gives you a divine feeling and emphasises the importance of protecting the environment.”

He further adds, “I love exploring and experiencing nature. No doubt any exploration is risky, but the challenge lies in pushing yourself and that’s when we learn the art of survival.”
