How often does a model get to be a part of Lakme Fashion Week? It’s such a tough process because it’s only the best and the well deserved who get in. Well, Pavitra Malaiappan is the only Chennai girl, who went through auditions and got through main stage at the Lakme Fashion week — it’s such a proud moment for all of us especially in the fashion industry that a Chennai girl has got though such a prestigious event, and put our city on a national platform.
Pavitra mentioned to me on how exciting it was for her to be a part of the opening show on day one and that she has been busy since.
She also adds that everyone were so overwhelmed the minute they saw a girl from our city. Pavitra stated that she never gave up and that she tried and worked hard to make a mark pan-India.
